Does Video Marketing Have to Be Professional?

I say that it helps if your videos are professional when you are using it as marketing for your business. If you are using the excuse that you can't do videos because you can't make them professional, or you are over weight, or your not good in front of the camera, then you need to stop it right now.

Just view this video by Lauren Blake who BBC says is the most popular make up artist on the planet.



As far as professionalism, this has to be one of the worst videos. The tv is on and you can see it and hear it. Her dog is snoring in the background. Thats just the beginning.

But this video, at this time, has 2.8 million views, almost 6000 ratings at 4.5 stars. WoW!

She has almost 250,000 Subscribers to her youtube page. Wow!

Why? Because she is so professional? Because she looks like a top model? Because she speaks so well?

No. Because she is using her talent to teach people. People watch and they learn exactly what they are looking for and it didn't cost them anything.
