Start MLM Business the Right Way

Start MLM business the right way straight from the get go. To many people have lost a lot of hours, friends, time, and money because they started wrong and they are still doing their business wrong.

To start MLM home business is certainly a great idea but you don't want to keep spending money and never making anything, right?

I'm glad we are on the same page right now. When you start an MLM business, you want to run it similar to a traditional business. I know, your upline said that is exactly what you are doing. That is why you have to buy products and buy a kit to get started which may end up costing thousands of dollars.

That is just bull! If you spend that much money on a business, you have to spend it where it will count.

Lets talk more about that.

A traditional business has most of these things:

  1. Store Front
  2. Website
  3. Advertising
  4. Employees
  5. Products
  6. Selling
Now answer this question for me. If you are running your business like a real business, how many of these same things do you have?

1. Store Front - No - Great thing about network marketing is no store front

2. Website - Maybe - If you have a website, it may be the worthless replicated site from your company or another company that built it. Or you have a website that doesn't get any traffic and is not customer focused.

3. Advertising - No - This is very important to have. Customers or business owners need to know who you are and you have something of value to provide. This can be very costly.

4. Employees - No - Also not needed when doing a MLM business.

5. Products - Yes

6. Involves selling - yes/no - You may have been told it's not selling but I'm sorry to tell you, everything is selling even if you give something away for free.

When we look at the list, and if your answers agree, then you are not starting or running your MLM business like a regular business.

You start out with a desire and products. Your products are the things you sell. You also have to understand the Business opportunity is also a product because you have to sell it to people.

Then what do you do next? You take your products and/or opportunity and chase down everyone you know; Friends, Family, Coworkers, The garbage man, The mailman, etc.

Is that what traditional businesses do?

If you think about it, people that know you want a discount because they know you. So that really isn't going to work.

This is where advertising and a website comes into the picture.

Advertising is not just ads on t.v., radio, in a newspaper, a billboard, etc., etc. You could put up a website or a blog and it becomes advertising.

You want it to be a teaching tool to teach your visitors and by that, you are advertising.

Dr. Mercola is a great example of this.

He has lots of articles about health and at times mentions products. Then people can go to a sales page and buy products. That is cheap advertisement at its finest.

So, you find what people are looking for on the internet. You use tools to get the exact keyword that people put in google, yahoo, and msn.

Then you build your page with that keyword and eventually, people start finding you on the internet.

That is the basics and that is what advertising tries to accomplish. Put customer focused ads in front of the people you want to attract and send them to the phone calling you or to your website.

If you can see the keywords people are searching for, then all you have to do is pay for a website to build and you can get all the free traffic to your website.
