People tend to think that if they find and join one of the new network marketing companies it increases their chances for success.

Why do they think this?

They think that there is less saturation. What does this mean? Let me explain it.

Saturation is basically this, everyone you know is in a certain company and most people around are also. So, you can't get them to join because they are "already in".

I hope this is not the case with you and the reason that you are looking for one of the new network marketing companies.

Many new companies fail. So, it can be said that with a new company, you have a greater chance of doing a lot of work for it to only collapse before you.

How to Succeed?

Here is what you need to do. Instead of looking for a new mlm company to join on the "ground floor", learn how to make any mlm or network marketing company you join successful.

I don't care what anyone tells you, you can do this. Even if everyone in your city or state is in 1 mlm company, you can still sponsor people and be very successful.

Advertising

It is said that when you join a MLM company, you are now in your own business. Most companies and uplines pretend to teach you what that means but lets think about it.

• Go call all your friends and family to get them to join.
• Go to the local stores and pest people to join or get their numbers and call them later
• Harrass people online to join your business.
• Spam your links to your pages or emails all over the internet

Does this sound like good business techniques? Is this what McDonald's does? Does the local business owner (flower shop, mechanic, pizza shop, etc.) do these kinds of methods to grow their business?

I don't think so unless they want to go out of business real fast. Some sales people do go door to door to offer products but most businesses don't rely on these sort of tatics.

So, if that is not how to run a business, then why do you? Why are people telling you to do that?

Also, I can guarantee that friends and family want discounts since they know the business owner. Its a sure way to go bankrupt.

Real Business Techniques

What are real ways to promote a business?

• Build a website

Businesses build websites. You see them all over. So why not do the same? One of the problems of building a website is knowledge. Don't know how to do the html coding or how to get people to it. I know exactly what that was like until several years ago. I knew some html coding and graphic design, but how were people going to find it. I found a way where I didn't need to know the html coding and they taught me how to build a website that people would find, lots of them. • Internet advertising (google adwords)

You can advertise on the internet using systems like google adwords. This cost money and can get really expensive if you don't know what you are doing. I am currently doing a small adword campaign with my mlm and it is signing up about 2-4 people a month. This more than pays for the advertising money that I spend. Not bad huh?

I get to have these people sign up directly under me and right now I have them signing up under people in my downline. To do this kind of advertising, you need some kind of webpage or blog to send people to. Then you will need some kind of sales page that will sell the person and have them sign up.

Also, it is good to have some kind of advertising and marketing knowledge so that you write out your ads well.

• Build a Blog

You can build a blog for free. You can also spend a little bit of money and get a domain name for your blog. The free ones are totally controlled by the company that hosts them. If they purposely or accidentally delete your blog, its gone with no trace.

You can spend some money on hosting (about $5-$10 a month) and have total control over your blog. A blog may not be a permanent thing like websites are, but you can see some fast growth with them.

Using these tools, you will have customers or business builders coming to you. No longer will you have to go chasing them and this is how a real business is suppose to be built.
